A person tag, explained plainly
Nudgent's person tag is for someone who looks after a person with dementia who sometimes walks out of the home without telling anyone. A small Bluetooth tag stays with the person. If it goes out of range of your iPhone, Nudgent tells you.
Is someone missing right now? Don't wait. A missing person with dementia is a police matter straight away.

What it does
- Tells your iPhone when the tag goes out of range (usually the same floor or a few rooms away, depending on walls).
- Shows where your phone was when the tag was last in range, and when. That is close to where the person was then, within Bluetooth range.
- Waits a moment before alerting, so a tag that blinks out of range doesn't raise a false alarm.
- Can alert only at certain hours (for example at night) or only while your phone is at home.
- Keeps everything on your iPhone. There is no account and no Nudgent server holding the person's information.
What it doesn't do
- It does not show where the person is now. A tag shows range, not location.
- It does not keep anyone safe on its own, and it is not a way to stop someone leaving.
- It can't alert if Bluetooth, the phone or Nudgent is switched off or closed, or if the tag's battery is flat or the tag has been taken off.
- It alerts only the phone that is watching. It does not message other people.
